Generally our roofing estimate process is as follows. The first step is to contact us to schedule the time and date which you would like us to come inspect your roof. Once we arrive to your facility, we will begin with an introduction so we can learn about you and your building, and you can learn about us and our business.
After the introduction, we will go up on the roof and start by measuring it. We will use these measurements to create a drawing that will help us with the roofing estimate process. In addition to the measurements and drawing we make, we will also take photos of your roof.
We will then begin to evaluate the existing roofs condition, which includes taking a core sample. A core sample is a very accurate way to determine whether your roof is dry or wet, how many layers your roofing system consists of, and what the new roofing system will be fastening to. Once we assess the core sample, we will discuss our findings with you and answer any questions you may have.
After the first meeting, we will return to our headquarters, put together a detailed plan and follow up with you to schedule the second meeting. At the second meeting, we will present you with the roofing estimate which includes a project outline and breakdown of cost.
